Discover the pleasures of owning original art in a lively festival setting. Spring is synonomous with ArtWalk in San Diego, which always takes place on the last weekend of April. This juried show showcases the art of more than 350 artists in the region’s largest outdoor art festival.

The team that produces the event is extremely excited about the caliber of art that will be showcased in 2008. At ArtWalk in Little Italy, visitors to the event will have an opportunity to visit with hundreds of artists, enjoy their work, and learn what inspired them. The festival features San Diego’s top musical performers and dance companies, interactive art activities for children, food and fun!

Find your way around the ArtWalk 2008 Festival with this convenient map. Maps will also be available to visitors in print form at the event; just visit an ArtWalk Info Booth to get your copy.

Parking and Shuttle Service for ArtWalk
Westfield Horton Plaza will once again be providing four hour parking validations for visitors to ArtWalk. Park at the mall and catch the Old Town Trolley from Broadway Circle, to shuttle to ArtWalk. Validations will be distributed by the Trolley driver

ArtWalk 2009 Artist Application is Now Open!
Returning artists can apply immediately, and new artists can apply starting May 5, 2008. Information on applying for ArtWalk 2009 is available on the application page.

Art Reach
ArtWalk artist Patti Fox and ArtWalk publications editor Judy Berman-Silbert introduced the new school art education program, ArtReach, with our first elementary school program taking place in November 2007 at Garfield Elementary School.
