ArtReach Fundraising Bench Project

Motivated by the success of KidsWalk at ArtWalk each year, the ArtWalk team made a commitment to bringing visual art experiences to young people year-round. The result is ArtReach. ArtReach visits schools throughout the San Diego region and works with students K-6 to create collaborative school-wide projects that merge skills and imagination. Under the direction of ArtWalk artist Patti Fox, students learn about color, value and form, and explore how to interpret ideas and dreams through visual expression.

The ArtReach Bench Project, sponsored by Dixieline PROBuild and Chipotle, allows you to bid on an original piece of seating art for your garden. Winning bids benefit the ArtReach program.

How to bid on a bench during ArtWalk:

- Benches will be on display on India Street near the corner of Date Street during ArtWalk.
- Bids will be taken via a silent auction.
- Bidders need not be present to win.
