Featured Artist Questions

	Has the Featured Artist Deadline Passed?
	November 2, 2007 is the deadline for Featured Artists applications for ArtWalk 2008.

	How many Featured Artists do you select?
	Our jury selects up to twelve ArtWalk artists to be Featured Artists each year.

	How are Featured Artists selected?
	Every completed application is considered for Featured Artist status (which is why we need your images) with the exception of applications from those who apply after the November 2 deadline.

	What do Featured Artists get?
	We promote Featured Artists in all ArtWalk public relations efforts which include outreach to all local and regional media. ArtWalk Magazine also highlights the work of each Featured Artist with an image and an artist statement. The chosen artists also receive “Featured Artist” designations on their tent signs.

	When are the Featured Artists announced?
	ArtWalk contacts all Featured Artists in February. Featured Artists are officially announced to the public at the end of February.
