Volunteer Requirements:
You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer for ArtWalk.

We Love Our Volunteers:
ArtWalk volunteers receive a complimentary ArtWalk 2008 t-shirt, refreshments and the opportunity to buy ArtWalk merchandise at a reduced price. All ArtWalk volunteers may enter a "volunteer only" raffle with exciting prizes donated by artists and sponsors.

When ArtWalk Needs Volunteers:
Beginning as early as March, ArtWalk volunteers help with a variety of pre-event tasks. During the event (Saturday April 26 & Sunday April 27), over 150 volunteers staff various positions each day from Noon to 6:00 PM.

Typically, volunteers work three hour shifts from Noon to 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on ArtWalk weekend.

Volunteer Positions for 2008:
Pre-event volunteer positions include answering phones, helping out in the ArtWalk office, putting up signs, event set-up and assisting ArtWalk staff with various projects.

During ArtWalk weekend, duties may include traffic control, info booth staffing, water sales, bicycle messengers, assisting visitors, checking in artists or assisting with children's projects.
