We truly hope you can join us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Important event details are listed below.&nbsp;Please read through before applying below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event hours are 11AM TO 5PM, but you will be able to start chalking earlier. We are still working on this detail as we need time for street cleaning before you begin. We\u2019ll communicate the \u201cchalking begins\u201d time with you a little closer to the event but are planning to bump it up earlier than last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Squares provided are 8 feet by 8 feet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When you fill out your application, please indicate whether you\u2019d like your \u201csign\u201d to show your name, a team name, or another designation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We require that you fill the whole square rather than leaving the asphalt as negative space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tempera paint is allowed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An assorted box of chalk, plus black and white chalk, will be provided&nbsp;for each artist\/team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our jury will evaluate applications on level of expertise.&nbsp;Those artists deemed as experts will receive a stipend of $200 paid onsite at the event.&nbsp;We will also provide snacks, beverages, and lunch both days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A limited number of sponsor dependent hotel rooms are available for out-of-town artists, and expert artists will be prioritized for room assignments.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Subject matter must be something Italian or Italian\/American. Feel free to get creative as you like! Your mural can depict a famous Italian, a replica of a piece of Italian art, a scene of Italy, Italian food, etc..
