Event Directions and Parking Locations
We strongly recommend taking the MTS Trolley to get to the festival. The GREEN LINE stops right at the western edge of the event area, between Cedar St and Beech St (the “County Center/Little Italy” stop). Walk east on Beech to begin your exploration. Click here for a trolley route map.
LYFT 30% Discount
LYFT is offering new or existing users a 30 % discount to and from the festival. Use code: ARTWALKSD to obtain the discount. LYFT will drop off and pick up at a designated location at the event, to be announced soon.
Old Town Trolley Free Shuttle
Old Town Trolley will offer a free shuttle from 7am to 7pm both days of the festival. Pick up locations are both north of the event. The Airport Economy Lot at Admiral Boland Way (just west of Pacific Highway) between Sassafras and Washington Streets, or at the corner of Kettner Blvd. and Laurel Street in front of the Aladdin Garage.
Cedar & Kettner Blvd. Parking Structure
In 2015 a large parking structure opened at the corner of Cedar and Kettner Blvd. Enter the garage on Kettner Blvd. just south of Cedar Street. This garage is operated by Ace Parking.
From the North
Take Interstate 5 South. Exit Sassafras/Kettner and continue south into the heart of the festival. Surface lots and street parking are available all around the event. On Sunday, there is no charge for meters. Please note that Little Italy has many of the “park/pay/display” boxes so if you do not see a meter be sure to check all around your vehicle for this box.
From the South
Take Interstate 5 North. Exit Hawthorne St/Airport Exit. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. At this point look for parking on the outskirts of the event.
