Be Part of Bella Vita Fest!
For 40 years, ArtWalk San Diego has celebrated both visual and performing arts in San Diego, with a majority of that time being spent in Little Italy. Our team is proud to have been part of this ever-growing neighborhood, producing many festivals including Taste of Little Italy and FESTA!
In 2017, FESTA! was cancelled indefinitely, and the neighborhood has been wanting to bring back an Italian cultural event to Little Italy. Enter Bella Vita Fest: chalk art, wine tasting, amazing entertainment and an overall celebration of Italian-American Heritage in Little Italy.
All ArtWalk San Diego events benefit our arts education non-profit partner, ArtReach. The organization brings high quality art lessons into schools that have no other resources for art education. Since 2007, ArtReach has served more than 30,000 students, county-wide.

CHALK Artists
The team that produces Bella Vita Fest has worked with professional chalk artists for decades. We understand the pride and passion that the artists put into their work, especially considering that it’s washed away at the end of each event. That’s why we do our best to accommodate the needs of each and every participating chalk artist at our events.

Performers
Musicians who play at Bella Vita Fest not only get the opportunity to perform in front of thousands of attendees in beautiful Little Italy, they also have a blast doing it! Past Bella Vita performers have included local legends, classical guitarists, swing groups and classically trained opera groups. We welcome all types of talent to apply!
VICINO Partners
Thank you to the businesses and organizations that support the festival. We encourage you to visit these businesses and support companies that appreciate this wonderful neighborhood as much as we do.

Volunteers
Be part of this grand celebration of Italian culture. Enjoy getting to work with professional artists and like-minded arts and culture volunteers in Little Italy. Bella Vita strives to make the volunteer experience enjoyable and meaningful. A majority of our volunteers return year after year. Many positions are available before and during the two day festival. Volunteers receive an event t-shirt or apron, and are entered into a drawing to win art and other prizes.
